IDEM and CCRD are offering 1,000 96 gal. recycling containers to curbside residents, appt. required.
Service Description
Requirements to receive a free container: must be in the curbside recycling area, make an appointment on website or call (812) 256-7942, have a driver's license showing current address, a copy of utility bill, pick up container at 112 Industrial Way in Charlestown. This is a first come, first serve opportunity for a free 96 gal. recycling container courtesy of a grant from the Indiana Dept. of Environmental Management and CCRD. Appointments required to pick up container from CCRD office, 112 Industrial Way, Charlestown. CCRD will receive 3 shipments of containers: at the end of May, June, and July ( a total of 1,000 qty.)
Cancellation Policy
The 96 gal. containers are available for curbside recycling service only in Jeffersonville, Clarksville, and Sellersburg. Residents must make an appointment online or call (812) 256-7942. Containers must be picked up in the office at 112 Industrial Way. If you have an SUV, van, etc. fold seats down or clear space for 96 gal. container prior to arrival. This is a first come, first serve opportunity to increase recycling in Clark County through free distribution of 1,000 qty., 96 gal. recycling containers. These containers are for recycling only.
