Garbage Collection:
Is provided by the Clarksville Street Department on a weekly basis. Contact the Street Department.
Yard Waste:
Accepted from the frist week of April through the last week of December.
Pickup Service: Collected on Monday through Wednesday, depending on your location. Waste is to be placed in a approved 95-gallon container clearly marked "Yard Waste" and cannot me mixed with your normal garbage. Containers are available through Smith Equipment Company, 401 East 11th Street, Jeffersonville, 283-0001 or Rumpke, 1-800-832-5025 with the cost of each container being approximately $75.00. Containers shoul not be loaded with more than 150 lbs. as this will decrease the life of and may cause damage to your container. Call the Street Department for route schedule.
Drop Off Service Available: If you do not wish to purchase a container, you may bring your yard waste to the Clarksville Street Department, 107 Roy Cole Drive (off Harrison Ave). This is limited to Clarksville residents only, no contractors. Call the Street Department for hours.
Limbs: Will be picked up on the same day as your garbage, so please stack limbs neatly beside your trash can (twigs and small limbs should be put into yard waste containers.).
Leaves: Beginning the first week of November and runs through the last week of December. Rake out into the street, leaving out any other yard waste. Call the Street Department for your schedule.
Appliances/Large Items: If you need to dispose of old appliances or large itmes, call the Street Department at 283-8233, to schedule a pick up. By federal law, all refridgerated items must have the Freon removed by a certified company. Most heating/air conditioning buisnesses provide this service for a small fee. Then call the Street Department at 283-8233 for pickup.
Animal Control: Help us save your beloved pets! Tag your pets to assure a prompt and sage return if lost. Report lost animals and/or any other animal problems to Clarksvilleanimalcontrol@townofclarksville.com Attn: Brandley, or call the street department.
